Sooo should I call you Mum and Dad?

At the thought of meeting my girlfriends parental unites for the first time and to celebrate my love of lists I have come up with my top seven things not to say.

1. Wow your daughter has a rocking body
2. I need a small loan
3. You don’t want to know how I pay the bills
4. Hey I have a skirt just like that!
5. Woops it’s time for a nappy change
6. I like to shoot up between my toes so you can’t see the marks.
7. …but they never found the bodies so it’s ok

All in all the meeting went well and I managed to avoid all the major social faux pas like eating the cat or talking about Jessica Alba.

Where i touch the dark

I have this shadow, it's me, my form, yet different.
In the light it copies me, moves when I move. yet it's distorted.
In the dark it engulfs me and wraps me in it's blanket.

In the dark it speaks to me. tells me of hidden things and secret places.
In the light I show it the world that without me my shadow would never see.

My shadow and I are joined.
We meet at the place where I touch the darkness and it meets the light.
